Glug Magazine — Alentejo Issue Cover Illustration

This cover illustration was created for Glug Magazine, a UK‑based publication dedicated to celebrating outstanding wines and drinks across Europe. For the Alentejo Issue Nº20, I developed an illustration inspired by traditional Portuguese azulejo tiles, blending regional symbolism, winemaking culture and a contemporary editorial aesthetic.
The artwork pays tribute to Alentejo’s deep connection to wine, craftsmanship and rural traditions, combining ornamental detail with a strong visual narrative. The result is a striking, culturally rooted cover that introduces the magazine’s exploration of the region.
