Traccia – Narrative Map for a Travel Writing Retreat

Commissioned by Opificio Terrae for the travel writing retreat Traccia, this illustrated map served as the guiding image for a event dedicated to narrative exploration through food, landscape, and memory. A journey that doesn’t follow real maps, but emerges from curiosity, memory, and the pleasure of discovery. The artwork depicts an imaginary territory — a poetic compass composed of rivers, paths, flavors, and gestures — designed to evoke the emotional and sensory experience of travel. It blends visual storytelling with symbolic cartography, inviting participants to navigate through writing, taste, and observation.
